Terms and Conditions
The terms you agree to by using this site, what is being sold and by whom, and what these guides are and are not.
The short version
This is a site that publishes guides about paper, letters, journals, cutting machines, craft pricing and household records, and sells digital files made here. Reading costs nothing and requires no account.
By using the site you accept what follows. If you do not, the remedy is simply to stop using it.
Who you are buying from
Everything sold here is made here. There are no affiliate links and no third-party products; if you followed one before September 2026 there was, and how this site makes money says what changed.
Our own digital files are sold in the shop through Polar as Merchant of Record, which means Polar is the seller of record for the transaction, takes the payment, and handles tax; Polar's buyer terms govern the purchase itself. Refund requests can be made within 10 days of purchase and are handled by Polar; the refund page explains how. What each file contains, and what you may do with it, is stated on that product's own listing at the point of sale. Files are delivered digitally, and nothing physical is sent.
A correction. Products went back on sale on 12 September 2026, and this section kept saying nothing was on sale after that. It now describes the shop as it is.
Checkout and digital delivery
A Buy link takes you from indigoandpaper.com to Polar's checkout at polar.sh. Indigo & Paper creates the files and provides product support; Polar is the merchant of record and authorised reseller for the transaction.
Prices on this site are shown in US dollars. Review the checkout total, including any applicable sales tax or VAT, before paying. There is no physical shipping or postage charge: the purchase is for downloadable files, not a printed planner, binder or other physical item. The product page describes the included formats and any software needed to use them.
After a successful purchase, Polar provides access to the files through its customer portal and sends an order confirmation email. Use the email address you entered at checkout to access your purchase. If you cannot access a file or the confirmation does not arrive, check your spam folder and contact hello@indigoandpaper.com. See contact for download help and refunds for the existing 10-day refund-request policy and your statutory rights.
What these guides are
They are written from working through the problem, and they are information rather than professional advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or safety advice.
Two limits worth naming plainly, because the subject matter invites them:
Guides that discuss font licensing describe how to read a licence. They do not tell you what your licence permits. Only the licence you actually hold does that, and if money depends on the answer, ask the seller in writing.
Guides that discuss making things for sale describe costs and process. They make no claim, promise or projection about earnings.
Craft and materials
Cutting machines, blades, heat presses and irons can injure you and can ruin material. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your own machine. Settings quoted here were what worked on one machine with one batch of material, and yours will differ. Test on a scrap first.
Accuracy, and what happens when something is wrong
Guides are checked when written and the world moves. Prices change, software changes its interface, and a link that worked in August can be dead by November. Nothing here is warranted to be current, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
If you find something wrong, tell me and it gets corrected or removed. That is the actual remedy on offer and it is meant seriously.
What you may do with the writing
The articles, images and page designs on this site are the work of Indigo & Paper. Quote a paragraph with a link back, and that is genuinely welcome. Republishing whole articles, or feeding the archive into a dataset, is not.
Files you have bought are covered by their own listing, not by this paragraph.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Indigo & Paper is not liable for loss arising from using it, from acting on a guide, or from anything that happens on a site you reached through a link from here.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
These terms change when the site does. The date below is the last revision, and material changes are noted on this page rather than applied silently.

Last revised 8 October 2026: clarified the Polar checkout destination, US-dollar prices, digital delivery and download support. No price, licence or refund window changed. Previous revision: 4 October 2026 (the guides' subjects, and an affiliate-era phrase removed).
