A planning and memory system for pregnancy, preparation and the first weeks with a new baby. Print only the pages you need: the aim is to make useful information easier to find and decisions easier to make, not to fill every page.
What is in it
Pregnancy at a glance; Appointments and care, with questions for your care team; Week by week, thirty-nine pages; Planning and preparation; Birth preferences; Postpartum support; Newborn rhythms, including a twenty-four hour care log; Memories; Notes.
Why this rather than a free pregnancy journal
The free pregnancy journals we looked at are good, and most of them stop at the birth: their last pages are the birth details and the first photo. That is not true of everything free, and the honest version matters here. There are free postpartum plans, the 4th Trimester Project's among them, that cover visitors, meals, errands and who does what after the birth, and they are worth having whether or not you buy this.
What this one does is keep the two halves in one file rather than two: postpartum support on pages 72 to 75, and newborn rhythms on pages 77 to 86, including the twenty-four hour care log for the fortnight when nobody can remember when anything last happened.
It is also week by week rather than month by month, which is thirty-nine pages against nine.
Format
103-page A4 PDF. Print the pages you need, or write on the file in a compatible annotation app. Working pages repeat so you can reprint them.
What it is not
It is for organisation and reflection, not medical advice, screening or emergency guidance. Health questions belong with an appropriately qualified professional, which the note on page 2 states plainly.
At a glance
103 pages to print, or to write on in a PDF annotation app; it is not a fillable form. Sections: pregnancy at a glance, appointments and care with questions for your care team, week by week (39 pages), planning and preparation, birth preferences, postpartum support, newborn rhythms with a twenty-four hour care log, and memories. Print only the pages you need; working pages repeat for reprinting. Digital download; nothing is shipped. Licensed to the purchaser for personal and household use; no resale or redistribution. For organisation and reflection, not medical advice, screening or emergency guidance.
