Gather & Read
A book-club host kit: group agreements, session schedules, conversation cards, and a route for the half who did not finish.
US$5.99 · Made by Indigo & Paper
Sixteen pages, A4 and US Letter, for whoever does the organising.
What is in it
- Agree how the group works — meeting length, book access and cost, who hosts next, and the spoiler rule, settled once instead of every month.
- Choose the next book with a shortlist, a stated voting rule and a written tie-break, so a tied vote does not become an argument.
- Choose a session length: 60- and 90-minute schedules, each broken into arrival, opening round, discussion, comparison and close.
- Twelve conversation cards, six for fiction and six for nonfiction, to cut out or read from the sheet.
- Map a useful disagreement — two readings side by side, with the passage each rests on.
- When the book is unfinished: a 60-minute alternative built on a shared chapter range, rather than pretending everyone finished.
- A meeting in practice: a worked meeting, including a 2/2/1 vote that goes to a second round.
What it is not
No discussion questions about any specific book, no reading list, and no invitations. Free question lists for a given title are everywhere; what they do not give you is a session that ends with the next book and host agreed.
What you may do with it
One purchasing household or reading group may print and reuse the blank pages for its own meetings. No resale or public redistribution of the blank templates.
